Learn to Skate Toronto
Skate Toronto offers learn to skate lessons throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The learn to skate program is designed to take beginner skaters and give them skating skills. Skate Toronto offers the learn to skate classes for children ages 6-12 years of age, youth 13-19 years of age and for adults from 20 and up. The classes are divided into four separate levels depending on the skater’s ability and skill level.

Learn to Skate Progam
The following skills are included in the learn to skate classes:
- Skating Forwards and Backwards
- Slaloms and Swizzles
- Gliding and Turning
- Stopping and Crossovers
Skate Toronto offers the learn to skate program at various community centres in the Greater Toronto Area including North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham and Thronhill on a seasonal basis. The learn to skate course gives skaters of all ages the basic skating skills for recreational skating or for advancing to the introduction to figure skating course.
Private Learn to Skate Lessons in Toronto
The coaches at Skate Toronto also offer private lessons one on one or in small groups at the learn to skate level. These private skating lessons can be arranged at during Skate Toronto program sessions or at instructional skating rinks located in North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Markham or Thornhill.
